James Brown -Facility Director
James has more than 20 years’ experience in event planning and has worked at the Civic Center since August 2006 as an Event Coordinator. James grew up in Nampa and successfully owned a local disc jockey and wedding business for several years. As a business man himself, James specializes in organizing special events, conferences and trade shows. James serves as President of the Treasure Valley Kiwanis. He thoroughly enjoys working with the whole team at the Civic Center to deliver “sheer delight” for customers.
Julie Corder - Event Coordinator
Julie has been an Event Coordinator at the Civic Center since May 2015. Her passion is the coordination of weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, business meetings and conferences. She is also the Event Coordinator of the annual (and ever so popular) Craft & Chocolate Affaire. Julie brought the fabulous Traditions of Christmas to the Civic Center. Traditions of Christmas is an annual production which includes auditions, rehearsal and performances. Julie came to the Civic Center as a certified public manager with more than 30 years’ experience in event and meeting coordination and previously served as a past troop leader with Boy Scouts of America.
Roseanna Marcum - Sales & Marketing Manager
Roseanna started in early 2016, managing a myriad of duties as an Administrative Assistant. In 2017 Roseanna was promoted to the Sales & Marketing Manager where she is responsible for event promotion, venue sales and marketing. She does this through creative marketing campaigns that promote awareness in and around the community. Additionally, Roseanna is the Event Coordinator of all of the in-house events, manages ticking at the Civic Center and is the IT contact for the facility. Roseanna is proud that she, as a non-traditional student, graduated from Boise State University in 2014 with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She brings a wealth of customer service skills, event planning responsibilities and marketing knowledge from previous positions in both the medical and sales field. Roseanna loves the community and is excited to be part of promoting such a great venue.
Tina Cantrell – Accounting Manager
Tina started in 2015 with multiple finance duties with the City of Nampa and landed a permanent home with the Civic Center in 2016. Born and raised in Idaho, she brings more than 20 years of experience and now serves as our Accounting/HR Manager. Tina graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and is currently working on a second Bachelor’s in Accounting, getting her prepared for the CPA Exam. Tina serves as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Nampa and enjoys being a part of the greater community.
Jayme Blevins – Administrative Assistant
Jayme was born and raised in Emmett, Idaho and moved to the Nampa area in 2006. She joined the Nampa Civic Center Team in November of 2017. She comes to us, from the Hospitality Industry, with more than 10 years of experience in Corporate, Group, and Event Sales. She is passionate about customer service and loves to make people smile. She also loves volunteer work and to be active in the community.
Michael Worman – Operations Manager
Michael provides direct supervision to Operations team, specifically in the areas of housekeeping, changeovers and room sets, and post event cleanings, of the Nampa Civic Center.
Michael was born and raised in Nampa Idaho and has volunteers his time in the community as a volunteer youth hockey coach, and Downtown Nampa Events Coordinator. Veteran of 13 years of service to the United States Army.
