Nampa Arts Collective announces a collaboration with the Nampa Civic Center
NAMPA, ID, February 3, 2017 – The Nampa Arts Collective (NAC) has provided visual art at the Nampa Civic Center, displaying local artists work with new installations every quarter. The opening reception is held at the Civic Center on Wednesday, Feb 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The public is welcome to come meet the exhibiting artists in attendance and hear about their work.
Their first exhibition was hung on Wednesday, Feb 1 and will remain through March 28. The show is titled Introducing: The Nampa Art Collective and is a lively show showcasing the work of 18 member artists. Artists include: Tom Bicak, Leslie Jay Bosch, Stephan Bosch, Lisa Bower, Jason Darrah, Carolyn Eardley, Carolyn Greener, Shawn Hubbs, Betty Mallorca, Lawrence Manning, Chris McNaught, Londa Paul, Tony Rios, Jeremy Rydalch, Audrey Swift-Miller, Patricia Thorpe, Jessica Tookey and Nathan Veibell.
The NAC is a group of artists, business owners and art-loving community members who are dedicated to creating and facilitating art and culture in our city. The Nampa Art Collective encourages the energy, freshness and expressiveness of contemporary art. The NAC values education in the arts. The public is invited to join the NAC at art exhibitions, attend workshops and Artist Talks, and socialize at regularly scheduled Art Mingles—open to artists as well as art lovers. The NAC provides opportunities to experience the particulars of exhibiting artwork; facilitates workshops for all levels covering mediums, techniques, and providing inspiration; and builds community by interacting with the public and speaking about our work. Since 2012, The Nampa Art Collective has brought artists and the community together.
The Nampa Civic Center openly welcome such professional organizations building their community outreach continues to acquire partners with professional abilities in the performing arts, fine arts and visual arts. With NAC now within the building, they provide a diverse group of art works organized under a 501c3 providing a sustainable base.
