Music Theater of Idaho Partners with Spectra Venue Management for 2020 Season Ticket Sales

Music Theatre of Idaho (MTI), Nampa’s leading producer of affordable live musical theatre, announced an agreement with Spectra Venue Management at the Nampa Civic Center to expand its ticket management to Spectra’s ticket platform, ICtickets, beginning with their 2020 Season.

NB Ridaz formerly known as Nastyboy Klick, are a well-known Latin Hip-Hop group from Phoenix, Arizona with a history of billboard chart topping singles in the 90’s. Some of their most notable singles include “Down for Yours”, “So Fly”, “Pretty Girl”, “Runaway” & “AZ Side”. They will headline the Latin Explosion at the Nampa Civic Center.

Spectra, the providers of Venue Management at the Nampa Civic Center invite you to spend Oktoberfest with them! This event has been bringing the community together to celebrate German tradition for 12 years. The first 100 tickets purchased cost just $5 plus applicable fees and include one free drink token. Scorpion Entertainment presents authentic and touching tributes to Karen Carpenter and Linda Ronstadt at the Nampa Civic Center on Friday, September 20 at 7:30pm in the Theater and Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 6:30pm for a dinner show in the Banquet Rooms. The concert, titled Carpenters On Top of the World, sends the audience through a passage of time as Dawn Turlington captures the true essence of timeless classics.



Walking Phoenixes take the Nampa Civic Center stage on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 7:30pm. Wearing their signature “all black” three piece suits, they give classic Johnny Cash Songs a rebirth with a modern and sometimes hot-rodded sound they created out of their love for Cash. It’s more than just a band or a likeness of Johnny Cash, it’s an experience. Tickets go on sale April 19, 2019 and can be purchased through the ICtickets website at or by calling 208-442-3232. Scorpion Entertainment and Music Theatre of Idaho bring to Nampa another one of their famous mash-up concerts on Friday, May 24 at 7:30pm in the Theater and Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 2:30pm outside in the Garden, both at the Nampa Civic Center.  The concert, titled Rock & Roll Icons, transports the audience through decades of music featuring Brian McCullough as the great music icon Roy Orbison. McCullough is teamed up with opener Mac Fishman who both his reprises role as Frankie Valli and enhances the show with his latest persona - Billy Joel.



Sean Rogers brings to the Nampa Civic Center another of his masterful piano concerts.  The concert, titled An Evening with Sean Rogers, promises an eclectic compilation of tunes that will escort the audience through the sands of time.  The goal of this performance is to connect with the audience through nostalgia, “Nostalgia reaches the inner part of us that becomes part of our lives” states Rogers. During the second half of the show, Rogers will illustrate his creative abilities as he gathers audience suggestions for a playlist and takes several of the submissions to compile an unscripted song.  Leslie Mauldin from Avenue B will be a guest artist during the performance.


Capital City Youth Ballet Presents “Beatrix Potter’s Tales”

Capital City Youth Ballet’s mission statement is to be a ballet company open to pre-professional dancers ages 12 – 18, which strives to provide a training ground for students who wish to pursue dance at the collegiate level or as a career. Additionally, the Capital City Youth Ballet company welcomes collaboration with local artists in support of community events. As a non-profit 501(c)3, this organization offers theatrical performances in the Nampa Civic Center as well as educational dance appearances in other venues throughout the valley to encourage young children to explore and enjoy dance.

This year’s Winter Show will feature the stories of “Beatrix Potter’s Tales” brought to life through dance. Also, on the program will be excerpts from the classical ballet Giselle and two original pieces of dance by local choreographers Caitlin Cullen and Melissa Strader.

Tickets are $13 plus taxes and fees.
