Spectra, the providers of Venue Management at the Nampa Civic Center invite you to spend Oktoberfest with them! This event has been bringing the community together to celebrate German tradition for 11 years and it’s happening again at the Nampa Civic Center September 28, 2018 from 6:00pm-10:00pm. The event includes music, games, food, fun and beer. The first 100 tickets purchased cost just $5 plus applicable fees and include one free drink token. Buy your tickets early! The first 100 sold are just $5 and include a token for a free beer! After that, the ticket price increases to $7 until September 27th at 11:59pm. Then tickets will be sold at the door for $10 if paid by cash or $11 if paid with a card. Buy a commemorative mug for just $10 (limit of 150). Get a discount on beer when filling up your mug. If you really want to celebrate, get the Prost! Package – it comes with get entrance, a mug, and 2 beer tokens for just $20, a value of $36 (limit of 100 Prost! Packages).

This 11th annual event in the garden of the Civic Center kicks off with authentic live German music provided by the Boise Valley Edelweiss Band. The ensemble has served the Treasure Valley for over 35 years, specializing in nostalgic Beer Garden Music. Check out our new garden tent, where you can rescue a few beers that have been trapped in their bottles. Don’t forget to visit and support the vendors at the event. Vendors on site are Scentsy, Color Street, Lularoe, Pure Romance and more.

Distinct Oktoberfest beers like Paulaner and Hacker Pshorr will be on tap. Paulaner is a rich malt beer and Hacker Pshorr is lighter than many of the American craft beer’s versions, less hoppy – which makes it delicious and refreshing. What makes beer even better? When it is accompanied by Bavarian foods such as brats, slaw, cheese soup, pretzels and strudel. So come on out, eat, drink and bring some friends because after all, friends don’t let friends go thirsty.

Play Oktoberfest game favorites at the Nampa Civic Center like the Brat Shot, Mug Holding Contest, Beer Stein Race and more. Come in your best Lederhosen, Dirndl or other traditional German attire and bring your best bier stein to enter our contests, and let the crowd vote on their favorites. Get a night out or bring your kids! Kids can jump in the bouncy house, join the Kids Kazoo Parade or enter the coloring contest. It will be a “pitcher perfect” night!
