Jay White has left astonished fans from around the world believing they’ve just had a close encounter with Neil Diamond himself. Backed by a live band, Jay’s Las Vegas-based America’s Diamond tribute recreates the look and sound of Neil Diamond, spanning the decades of his career with the uniqueness that made him the Rock ’n’ Roll Hall of Fame legend he is today! The band performs earlier hits such as “Cherry Cherry”, “Sweet Caroline”, and “Cracklin’ Rosie” on to later hits like “Love on the Rocks” “Hello Again” and “America” in the well-rounded, 90-minute show.

Jay Whites’ portrayal of Neil Diamond is so faithful that it caught the attention of director Ron Howard, who cast him as Neil in the 2008 Academy Award nominated movie Frost/Nixon. But most importantly, Jay has received the endorsement of Neil Diamond himself who told him personally after a 2002 concert: “Jay, keep singing so I can stay home and relax; your friend in music, Neil”.

America’s Diamond has continued the musical legacy of Neil Diamond, performing over 9000 shows in more than 5 different countries from the U.S., to Canada, Ireland and Japan! For Jay White, the show is a labor of love, and it shows in the faces of everyone singing, swaying and smiling along to the brilliant songs that Neil brought to the world!
